Olymplic Training

Classes held every Friday from 4 to 5:30

For those students that excel in Tae Kwon Do and are competing, being in a class with mixed belts may not be the best way to achieve their personal goals.
With this in mind, Master Lee is running an Olympic Training class with hand selected students. The idea is that when you practice with the best, you can become the best.

Olympic training sessions focus more on sparring technique, strategy and tactics, endurance, and finding personal limits. Master Lee is passing on knowledge using methods he learned at the Colorado Olympic Training Center during the 5 years when he was on the US Team.

Forms/Poomse

Tae Kwon Do has 8 forms associated with "colored" belts, and about 9 forms associated with black belt.

Forms or "Hyungs" in Korean,

are a series of defending and attacking movements performed against imaginary opponents in a set pattern. Through the practice of forms, students learn the application of various Tae Kwon Do techniques and classical combinations. Forms serve a multi-dimensional purpose, aiding in the development of coordination, balance, timing, breath control and rhythm.
